Een error die ik kreeg na het downloaden van de niewste firmware voor de 2820.
Maar war antwoord diene brave mens naar mij ?
Ik versta hem niet want dit is geen vlaams denk ik.

Thank you for contacting Garmin Europe.
In regard to your email, this error can occur when you are communicating in a direct connection to one of the Garmin's units using the USB GPS transfer method. This connection requires drivers to be installed to your pc to allow this transfer of data.
This particular error is telling me that you either need to update those drivers or that you are running the USB cable thorough a hub of some sort.
If you are running the USB cable through a hub, please change this connection so that you are going directly to your pc instead and retry. The download should now work.
If your connection is already directly into your pc, you may need to update the drivers that allow this transfer to work properly. I am including instructions below on how this can be done as well as the link to the GARMIN website to do so.
Here are the steps that you will need to follow for the update:
1. Go to our website http://www.garmin.com/support/download.jsp
2. Go to Software Updates under the QuickLinks area on the left side of our home page.
3. Click on Current Products
4. Go to USB GPS Driver Update
5. Agree or Disagree to software license
6. Download into a known folder (ie. C:\windows\desktop)
7. Double click on the file you just downloaded
This file is a straight .exe file. When you double click it, it should walk you through the required steps. You must then unplug your USB cable from the pc and reconnect it when the update is completed so that the new drivers will be recognised.
