Beste forum, hieronder een mailtje van Engelse Blue Knights die een probleem hadden met banden en toch wel vrij gevaarlijk kan zijn...

Two of our members were touring Europe of late when they had the good
fortune to stop and check their route. On doing so, one spotted the
condition of his colleague's fairly new rear tyre, a big chunk of
which had come away and with the chords being exposed. Had they not
stopped, the consequences are unthinkable. I am aware with a faulty
batch of the same tyres issued to the Police a couple of years ago,
where cracks start to appear in the ridges at the bottom of the tread
pattern. This appears to be the same problem.

Op de foto is duidelijk te zien dat het hier op een ouder type van de batlax is...de BT020. Nadien kwam de BT020NT en nu is er de BT021.

Zou me dus geen verdere vragen stellen.
