BMW GS Meeting in Finland 12.-14.6.2009

The Third International BMW GS Meeting will be held 12-14.6.2009 in Koskenpää Rantapirtti Finland.

The event is a chance to meet like-minded GS-riders, ride around in Finnish beautiful scenery enjoying marvelous gravel roads, spend the weekend with friends, and soul-mates and relax together.
Some of the ready made routes go to the same gravel roads as Neste Oil Rally.

Hi Pekka, I've deleted your second posting in the "Toerisme forum", since you've posted here as wel.
Its just that crossposting isn't appreciated, since you're new you probably didn't know.

About the gathering, looks and sounds like heaps of fun, though it's a fair bit of a distance coming from here I wouldn't expect to many Belgian GS'ers, maybe some who are over there for a holiday trip.

ik heb eigenlijk wel zin om te gaan. rijden in een mooie omgeving, onverhard, ... Maar niet om alleen te gaan

kosten zijn ongeveer een 250 euro voor de overtocht, 50 euro voor de meeting zelf.
het is iets van 700 km tot rosstock en van daaruit (na de overzet) een 250 km tot de bijeenkomst.

enkel voor een weekend is wssl wat extravagant, dus een paar dagen voor en na moet wel kunnen.

zijn er nog die dit wel zien zitten?
Ik wel eventueel wel de softie uithangen en de moto op een aanhanger zetten tot rosstock. dit omdat de boot heen vertrekt om 5.00 uur 's morgens, en ik eigenlijk liever niet 's nachts 700 km met de moto rijd op onverlichte autostrade's in Duitsland. met meerdere chaufeurs in een auto kan je altijd nog afwisselen. Op voorwaarde dat we daar op de meeting zelf in alle talen over zwijgen uiteraard
